Which clothes should not be stored in hygiene balls

In order to prevent clothes from being eaten by insects, people should put some hygiene balls as much as possible when storing clothes. But who knows how many types of clothes are not allowed to be hygiene balls? Let’s take a look at which types of clothes are there?

1. Sanitary balls should not be placed in synthetic fiber clothes: contact with synthetic fiber clothes will cause naphthalene oil stains or stains with brown and yellow marks, which will not be easily washed off. When storing synthetic fiber clothes, it is best to wash them clean, dry them, and dry them thoroughly, without sanitary balls. If placed with cotton, wool and other clothes, you can choose insect-proofing agents such as synthetic camphoresin or natural camphor balls, so that they will not affect the strength and tension of the synthetic fibers.

2. Light-colored silk clothing and clothes embroidered with &ldquoise "gold &rdquoise", &ldquoise "silver &rdquoise" line pattern should not be placed on sanitary balls: because after they come into contact with the volatile gas of the sanitary balls, the fabric will easily turn yellow, and the silk is broken.

3. It is not advisable to put sanitary balls on clothes in plastic bags: because the heat resistance of naphthalene in sanitary balls is very low. At room temperature, its molecules continue to move and separate, changing from white crystal to gaseous, emitting a spicy smell. If it is placed with a plastic bag containing the clothes, it will have a chemical reaction, causing the plastic products to expand, deform or stick, and damage the clothes.
