The reaction of a cat that was abandoned twice in a row because of illness is heartbreaking after being rescued

Once upon a time, I thought that the fate of stray animals on the streets was the same. They were homeless, hungry, and running around for a bite of food.

Until I met a friend who was engaged in rescue work, he told me that the furry children who have been wandering since birth are not as pitiful as we think.

They have been able to survive to this day and have already developed the ability to make a living, which can be called "unique skills". After being rescued, they have food and water every day. These furry children live happily than anyone else.

Those fur babies who have been abandoned by their owners, or even abandoned many times, are the worst. They were once held in the hands of their owners like treasures, and they experienced the wonderful feeling of being loved by humans, but were pushed into the abyss by their owners' hands. The pain of falling from heaven to hell is difficult to describe in words.

Such furry babies will not survive long if they are not rescued in time after being homeless. Even if they are rescued and have no worries about food and drink, the furry babies will remain depressed all day long because they do not understand why their owners want to abandon them.

Stray cat with urinary catheter

In April this year, a feces collector in Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, discovered a stray cat while walking in the community. The little guy was very dear to him. The man called it casually a few times, and the cat strode towards him, meowing, rubbing his head against the man's trouser legs, and coquettishly coquettishly at her.

After a close encounter with the cat, the poop collector suddenly discovered that the cat actually had a catheter inserted in his body! It’s no wonder this cat is so affectionate, since it was originally a house cat.

This cat probably suffered from some disease, and the owner took it for treatment, but something happened that made the owner finally give up on treatment and abandon the cat in the community.

The house cat has no ability to survive, dragging its sickly body, wandering around the community at a loss. It meows with hunger, its eyes are full of helplessness, and it acts coquettishly at every human it meets, hoping that they can help it.

Many people stopped when they saw this cute round-faced cat, but when they saw the catheter, they all chose to leave.

This is the second time it has been abandoned.

The cat owner also has a cat at home, but her kitten has no worries at all. Apart from eating, drinking and having fun every day, she sleeps soundly. After seeing the despair in this cat’s eyes, the cat owner’s heart almost broke. Its owner couldn’t keep things from beginning to end, but she couldn’t help the little guy. She decided to help this little guy.

The feces scraper took the cat to the pet hospital. The doctor pulled out the urinary catheter, but found that the tube had been blocked. The cat could not urinate normally. Every time he urinates, it is an extremely painful experience.

What is even more sad is that the cat’s urinary tract infection was not treated in time, resulting in necrosis of one of its kidneys and had to be surgically removed.

The poop shovel officer sent the cat to the operating table with anxiety. Fortunately, everything went well! After the operation, the cat's appetite began to improve. It ate big mouthfuls of food, and even shed tears while eating, which made the cat owner feel distressed.

Later, the official inquired and learned that this was not the first time this cat had been abandoned. Years ago, the cat was abandoned by its original owner in a community and was taken in by a new owner. Unexpectedly, the little guy was abandoned again by the new owner because of his illness.

In fact, if the owner treats it in time, the cat’s kidneys can be saved. The poor little guy has not met a reliable owner twice in a row.

While taking care of the cat, the cat scavenger discovered that the cat had a particularly good temper, a docile and clinging personality, and was extremely friendly and affectionate towards its own kind.

Thinking about the pitiful look of the cat when we first met it, it was probably because it was worried about being abandoned again that it was so well-behaved and sensible!

The cat will be temporarily taken care of by the cat owner. When the little guy fully recovers, the cat owner will help it find a suitable owner, an owner who will never abandon it again.

Don’t blindly breed

Whenever the number of stray cats and dogs on the street increases, some people will point the finger at the stray cats, but never think that the people who are really responsible are those who are called "owners" but have never fulfilled their responsibilities as owners.

Those people originally vowed to protect them for the rest of their lives, but due to various excuses, they eventually abandoned the furry babies.

Many rescue agencies will set a series of restrictive conditions when screening owners, such as economic level, house area, regular visits, etc. These conditions may seem a little harsh, but in fact they are truly responsible for furry children.

If you are not sure whether you can take care of them for a lifetime, then do not take them home. Blindly raising them and then abandoning them again will only cause secondary harm to the furry children.

I wish every furry child can meet an owner who will be responsible for it throughout its life.
