Sheshko: Playing for Manchester United is the dream of countless players. Outside of football, he likes to meditate and play basketball.

Sky Sports collected questions from various fans and conducted an exclusive interview with Manchester United forward Sheshko.

About football idols

Moderator: The first question is simple: "Who is your football idol?"

Sheshko: Zlatan Ibrahimovic. I used to watch him play when I was younger and he was incredible, that's the only way I can describe it.

Host: Will you imitate his playing style? Like watching his highlights on YouTube over and over again?

Sheshko: His performance on the court, his control... I am good at controlling the ball and can complete some technical actions. Playing football is a pleasure for me, that's what attracts me to football and why I watch him play over and over again.

Host: Have you met him in person?

Sheshko: Never.

Host: Are you nervous when you see him?

Sheshko: Of course! After all, he is my idol. If I could see him in person, or even say a word or two to him, I would definitely be nervous. Hope this wish will come true soon.

Reasons for choosing Manchester United

Moderator: There are many questions like this: "Why choose Manchester United?"

Sheshko: To be honest, this is not only my dream, but also the dream of countless players. Playing for a club like this is the ultimate career goal. When I heard that there was a chance to transfer, especially to Manchester United, I was excited! This is what I have always dreamed of, and now that it has come true, I couldn’t be happier.

Host: There were other clubs pursuing you at that time, but when you heard the name Manchester United, did you instantly identify it?

Sheshko: Yes, like I said, this is the dream. Playing in a stadium like this for a club like this is what I've always wanted.

Moderator: How much weight does the coach play in your decision-making?

Sheshko: Very important. After all, he needs to guide me in all aspects, and we have a good relationship on and off the court, and he has been a huge help to me.

The process of adapting to Manchester United

Moderator: Which teammate helped you the most?

Sheshko: I am a professional player who pays attention to details. Dalot is one of them and we hit it off. He took the initiative to familiarize me with everything in the first few days and gave me various suggestions, which was really helpful.

Host: As a young player, you have to adapt to a new league and new culture when joining a giant club. How was your experience?

Sheshko: The changes are all-round - city, country, club details... your whole world has changed. But I love the challenge. There is always pressure, but I see pressure as a privilege that pushes you to work harder. With the help of my teammates, I have adapted well and everything is going well now.

Life outside football

Host: What do you like to do after leaving the field?

Sheshko: I like to meditate, especially at home. I also love playing basketball, although I don’t play much now. These two activities completely relax me.

Moderator: How important are meditation and yoga to you?

Sheshko: Meditation is a required daily course, it can keep my mind clear. Yoga three times a week, the combination has benefited me tremendously.

Host: Someone asked you if you can play in the NBA? We have seen a video of you playing basketball. How good are you honestly?

Sheshko: Not bad! After all, I have no professional training. When I was young, I hesitated between basketball and football, but the football atmosphere in my hometown was stronger, so I finally chose football.

Host: You are so humble! I heard you and Luka Doncic are friends?

Sheshko: We are compatriots and occasionally watch him play (although not often enough). Hope to meet him one day, he is great.
