Work with Tom Geek Kardashian! Sun: Hollywood producer Winston joins the Gunners board

Ben Winston, 43, joined the Arsenal board as a non-executive director, has worked with Tom Cruise and Kim Kardashian, the Sun reported.

Previously, Executive Vice Chairman Tim Lewis left the club and Richard Garrick was promoted to CEO. This transfer of power will give Josh Kroenke greater power in the London club, marking the arrival of a new era of the Gunners.

Winston will bring his Hollywood expertise to the world of football and help Arsenal continue to chase important trophys. Although the British TV producer and director has no previous experience working in football, he definitely knows what it means to be an Arsenal fan - he has held season tickets at the club for 30 years.

Winston has gained fame in the television industry and has participated in the production of some of the most popular shows and events in recent years. He is known as "the most influential producer in television" and has won 13 Emmy Awards. These include helping create James Corden's iconic show "Carpooling Karaoke" and producing Corden's late-night show in the United States.

He also participated in the production of the Friends reunion special, several Grammy Awards and the British Music Awards. In addition, he has also participated in the production of the Christmas special and final episode of "Gavin and Stacey".

Winston's career allowed him to meet many Hollywood superstars. James Corden is one of his most famous friends, and the two have become friends because of their shared love for football and become best friends. Corden even made Winston his best wedding groomsman.

Popular superstar Harry Styles lived with Winston and his wife Meredith for nearly two years at his peak. Winston has also produced programs for artists such as Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Elton John and Adele, and has established deep friendships with them. Currently, he is also producing the "Kardashian Family" program and working closely with celebrities such as Kim Kardashian.

Winston's father, Sir Robert Winston, was a famous doctor, scientist and TV celebrity, so Winston had come into contact with many celebrities since he was a child. Despite his impressive background in the entertainment industry, Winston's love for football has been consistent. He has watched Arsenal games with his father since he was five or six years old, and now he has held season tickets for 30 consecutive years. He has not missed any away matches in Europe in 12 years and has witnessed Arsenal's victory over Real Madrid at the Bernabeu in the Champions League last season.

Winston's Instagram shows photos of him taking pictures during the game, drinking wine with Ian Wright, having dinner with Mikel Arteta and taking pictures with Declan Rice. His love for Arsenal can even be traced back to his youth arranging former Arsenal vice-president and Premier League founder David Dane to his school speech.

Football has also penetrated Winston's career, producing the Class 92 documentary involving David Beckham and Gary Neville, as well as the "Until I Die" series. He also demonstrated his passion for other sports, producing the "Los Angeles 2028 Handover" section at the closing ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
