Arsenal s best candidates for September: Gabriel, Martinelli, Trosad, Suvimenti

Arsenal officially announced the candidates for the best player in September, with Gabriel, Martinelli, Trosad and Suvimenti being among them.

Arsenal remained unbeaten with 4 wins and 1 draw throughout September and advanced to the semi-finals of the League Cup.

Gabriel

Gabriel played all in September and created one of the most important moments of the month against Newcastle.

When the game entered injury time, Gabriel's Tarzan header scored, helping Arsenal score 3 points at St James Park for the first time since May 2023.

In addition, Gabriel also participated in several clean sheets in the back line, including matches against Biba and Nottingham Forest, and a substitute in the second half of the match against Port Vier.

Martinelli

Martinelli proved his value to the team on multiple occasions in September, contributing important goals at critical moments.

In the first match of the Champions League against Biba, his substitute came immediately and scored a goal in just 37 seconds at the San Mames Stadium.

Then Martinelli assisted Trosad to secure the victory. A few days later, Martinelli replicated this performance again, coming off the bench against Manchester City, scoring a wonderful dribble shot to help Arsenal draw 1-1.

Trosad

Like Martineli, Trosad also had a huge impact as a terminator in September.

Trosad first assisted Martinelli in Bilbao, and then scored his first goal of the season, which was also the second goal of the night. In Arsenal's 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest, Trosad also gave Suvimenti a wonderful assist.

In the League Cup, Trosad came on as a substitute and scored a wonderful goal against Port Vier: he perfectly removed Saliba's long pass and then scored a goal, rewriting the score to 2-0.

Suvimenti

Suvimenti was nominated for Arsenal's Player of the Month for the second consecutive month.

After a great debut month in August, Suvimenti scored a brilliant long-range volley, scoring his first goal against Nottingham Forest. He was not satisfied with this, and after receiving a cross from Trosad, heading the ball into the upper corner of the goal, completing the double score of the day.

Suvimendi started in all Premier League and Champions League matches so far, including a recent victory over Olympiacos.
