Official news from the International Federation of Professional Footballers (FIFPRO) is that the world's best 11-man team in 2025 will announce the candidate list on October 27, local time, and the final results will be released on November 3, local time.

FIFPRO World 11 is the best 11 men's and women's football players of the year selected by the International Federation of Professional Footballers. The awards, originally known as FIFPRO World 11, started in 2005 and honor the best football players as voted for by their peers.

In 2009, FIFPRO cooperated with FIFA and renamed it "FIFA FIFPRO World 11" (i.e. FIFA's annual best team), while retaining its original mode. From 2024, FIFPRO manages the award independently and returns to its original name: FIFPRO World 11.

The annual lineup is voted for by professional players around the world and is the only global award in football that is entirely determined by the players.
