NVIDIA s first N1X laptop processor running scores are exposed! iGPU performance is highly favorable for Apple and AMD

According to market reports, the first Windows on Arm processor "N1X" jointly developed by NVIDIA and Joint Development Corporation, its launch time has been delayed to the first quarter of 2026, and the test results of the chip in Geekbench OpenCL have also leaked.
According to Geekbench data, N1X uses 20 core CPU design, divided into two sets of 10 core sets, and is built on NVIDIA's Grace architecture; it is equipped with 48 SMs (Streaming Multiprocessor), with a total of 6,144 CUDA cores, which are exactly the same as the desktop version of GeForce RTX 5070.
This configuration is also consistent with the GB10 Superchip, which currently drives DGX Spark AI small servers, showing that the N1X is likely to be a low-power version, targeting the mainstream market.

Since this time it was a test of early engineering products, power consumption and frequency will be limited, and it has not yet been paired with a dedicated GDDR memory, and only uses a shared LPDDR5X, so its performance is still in its early stages, such as 1.05 GHz, and the OpenCL test score is 46,361, which is approximately the same as the RTX 2050 level.
However, N1X's built-in display chip (iGPU) still takes the lead in all current integrated display cores, including the Apple M3 Max and AMD 890M; from the perspective of architecture, the RTX 5070 can reach 2.5 GHz and 250W TDP, while the N1X overall chip is limited to about 120W, and there is still a clear rise.
If N1X is expected to be launched in the first quarter of 2026, it will be launched simultaneously with a new wave of AI printers (Windows on Arm). Although the N1X is currently in the prototype stage, its specifications are already in line with the medium and high-level independent GPUs. If NVIDIA provides sufficient power consumption and bandwidth support, the N1X may become the first ARM SoC to truly challenge the high-performance laptop market for x86, and even shake Apple's position in the AI high-level laptop market.
